Just got back from an incredible 10-day Morocco trip with Acqua Travel, and I’m still in awe! My partner and I, from Toronto, wanted a mix of culture, history, and adventure, and Acqua delivered beyond our wildest expectations.
From the moment we reached out, the Acqua team was amazing—super responsive, patient with our endless questions, and genuinely excited to craft our perfect itinerary. They took our vague ideas (Marrakech! Deserts! Maybe some hiking?) and turned them into a seamless journey through Morocco’s highlights. Their support felt personal, like they really cared about making our trip special.
On the ground, the local staff were absolute rockstars. Our guide, Hassan, was a walking encyclopedia with a great sense of humor—he brought Fes and Chefchaouen’s history to life and knew the best spots for authentic tagine (my mouth’s watering just thinking about it). In the Sahara, our Berber camp hosts were so warm, sharing tea and stories under the stars. Our driver, Youssef, navigated the winding Atlas Mountain roads like a pro and always had a smile, even when we stopped for a million photos of the desert dunes.
Highlights? Wandering the blue alleys of Chefchaouen, haggling (badly) in Marrakech’s souks, and that magical camel ride at sunset in the Sahara. The accommodations—riads, a desert camp, a mountain guesthouse—were cozy and full of character. Wow, we’re still buzzing from our East African trip with Acqua Travel! My husband, two teens, and I, all from Seattle, just got back from an 11-day adventure in Kenya and Tanzania, and it was hands-down the trip of a lifetime. We were a bit nervous about planning such a big journey from North America, but Acqua made it so easy and personal.
From the start, their team listened to what we wanted—lots of wildlife, some cultural stuff, and a pace that wouldn’t exhaust us. They nailed it. In the Maasai Mara, our guide, James, had this infectious enthusiasm and eagle eyes for spotting animals. We saw cheetahs sprinting, a herd of elephants so close we could hear them munching, and even a lioness with her cubs napping under a tree. My daughter’s still talking about it! In the Serengeti, our guide, Aisha, shared stories about growing up nearby, which made the whole experience feel so real.
The lodges and tented camps were amazing—cozy beds, hot showers, and food that kept even our picky son happy (he’s still craving the fresh mango smoothies). We loved the little touches, like warm blankets for early morning game drives and the staff remembering our names. Meeting a Maasai family was a highlight—my son tried spear-throwing, and we all laughed so hard.

We just got back from an amazing trip through Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore, and I have to say acqua team absolutely created amazing trip for us. There were 16 of us traveling together, a big group of friends, and planning something like this could easily have been overwhelming. But Acqua made it so easy. They worked closely with us to create a custom itinerary that checked all the boxes great hotels, smooth transfers, fun experiences, and just the right amount of downtime. What really stood out was how responsive and supportive the team was, even while we were on the road. Acqua Travel put together a killer South Korea trip. Seoul’s markets were a blast, and Jeju Island was straight-up gorgeous. The food tours? Amazing—loved the Korean BBQ and making kimchi! Only thing is I could’ve used more chill time in Busan. Still, such a fun trip!

OMG, my Japan trip with Acqua Travel was out of this world! They created a wonderful the itinerary as per my requests. Tokyo’s crazy energy, Kyoto’s peaceful temples, and a super moving day in Hiroshima. The guides knew their stuff and made every spot feel special. Our group of 12 people had an incredible 11-day Japan journey with Acqua Travel, exploring Tokyo, Nara, and Hakone. Acqua designed a perfect itinerary blending culture, relaxation, and foodie delights. Our 10-day India trip with Acqua Travel was amazing! They customized a Golden Triangle tour with Varanasi for us. India was a dream! The Taj Mahal was breathtaking, but the temples in Rajasthan and Varanasi were deeply spiritual experiences. It’s a country of contrasts that you can’t fully understand until you see it. We went on a food tour in Jaipur and had a flavourful time.There was a boat tour of the Ganges in Varanasi. Acqua Team helped us add some unique experiences to our trip to India. Can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience! The personalized itinerary allowed for some customization, and I loved the blend of cultural exploration in Cape Town and thrilling safaris in Kruger. Good job Acqua!!!! We customized our itinerary to include two extra experiences, which made our trip even more special. Along with the fantastic highlights already included, like the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Dubai Desert Safari, we added a private yacht cruise along Dubai's coastline. It was an incredible way to see the skyline and relax in luxury. The whole trip was seamless.

We recently did the 'Exploring the Charms of Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro' tour with Acqua Travels, and it was a fantastic experience. The tour was incredibly well-organized, and our guide was outstanding. He had such a deep knowledge of the regions we visited, from Ljubljana's charming streets to the stunning coastline of Montenegro, and he explained everything so clearly. I loved Croatia. Dubrovnik is as magical as they say, and Split was such a laid-back destination. Visiting Plitvice was nice. Acqua Travel handled the whole trip, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our guides helped us know the places we visited in a much better way, and the boat ride along the coast was icing on the cake. A small hiccup with hotel check-in was quickly sorted by Acqua’s team. Would do it all again.

Our Kenya safari with Acqua Travels was an experience of a lifetime. We spent a few days at the Maasai Mara National Reserve, and I was amazed by the wildlife. Seeing the ‘Big Five’ up close was surreal. Our guide was knowledgeable and made sure we had the best opportunities to spot animals. We also visited Amboseli National Park, where we got stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background while watching elephants graze. The accommodations were comfortable and the food was delicious. If you’re looking for a safari, Kenya is the place to go!
